Back
about 1900, Otto Redeker opened a paint store in Springfield. He
had an employee named John Neu. Eventually John Neu bought the paint
store from Redeker. Then John Neu employed Paul Dellert, who bought
the paint store from Neu in 1943. Since 1943, the Dellert family
has developed a great paint business, now in its third generation
of family ownership and customer service. Paul Dellert and his wife
were the parents of Don Dellert, Sr., who owns the Dellert Springfield
store, and grandparents of Don Dellert, Jr., providing years of paint
coating experience.
