What are VOC's?
"VOC's" are Volatile Organic Compounds. Organic solvents found in
paint are among many compounds that fall into this category. As paint
dries, organic solvents evaporate and combine with nitrogen oxides
and sunlight to create ground level ozone or smog.
LEED
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building
Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design,
construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. Architectural
paints, coatings and primers applied to interior walls and ceilings
must not exceed the VOC content limits established in Green Seal Standard
GS-11, Paints, First Edition, May 20, 1993.
MPI Green Performance™ Standard (GPS)
The MPI Green Performance™ Standard requires that all products
shall meet or exceed the performance requirements of the applicable
MPI product standard. It also requires that certain restricted chemical
compounds are not used as ingredients in the manufacture of the product
and that the VOC concentrations of the product shall not exceed the
maximum allowable as determined by the FDA.
Dulux® Lifemaster™
ICI Paints was the first paint company in North America to offer interior
latex paint free of organic solvents. Now, 15 years later, ICI Paints
re-introduces the award winning Lifemaster in a more durable 100% acrylic
formula. While maintaining the benefits of fast "back to service" for
painted rooms, Dulux Lifemaster now offers longer service life for
commercial and institutional building owners and managers.

Dulux® Pro Standard™ Interior Wall & Trim Paint
Designed for non-residential applications where a cost-effective
alternative is required while still meeting application and green
performance standards.
Dulux® Pro Standard™ interior paints are formulated to
provide cost-effective hide and coverage. Available in Acrylic Flat,
Eggshell and Semi-Gloss, Dulux® Pro Standard™ meets commercial
specifications, LEED criteria, and 2008 low-VOC standards so they
can be used anywhere in the United States.
Dulux® Advanced Oil™ Interior Acrylic Enamel
Dulux® Advanced Oil™, with its innovative renewable resin component,
delivers the quality of a traditional alkyd finish with the speed and
ease of a latex paint.
This premium alkyd enamel series is specially formulated with "oil
in water" technology, which combines genuine alkyd application performance
with the spped and ease of an acrylic latex. Dulux® Advanced Oil™ provides
alkyd hardness and durability, yet is low odor and VOC-compliant. Ideal
for use on properly prepared wood, metal, or masonry surfaces.
